2022 Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare
Simply Moonshine is a very gentle, kind, two-year-old filly. She is sired by Zipanic and out of our great mare Petunias Play Toy. I purchased her as a weanling at the Benny Binion estate dispersal sale. Petunias Play Toy is sired by Coronas Play Toy, going back to Doc Quixote by Doc Bar. Moonshine is in training with Brandon Tonioli in Utah. He will be showing her in the two-year-old futurity at the NILE livestock show Oct. 17, 2024. She is started very well, and we think she will be a strong contender to win the futurity.
She will be in the NILE horse sale on Oct. 19, 2024.
Moonshine’s full siblings have won NILE futurities in the past. They have been excellent rope horses and strong barrel racing horses. We have a full sister in our broodmare band. Take the guesswork out of it and buy her at the sale where she will be very well started and ready to go to work in any event you select. These are all around horses for anyone to do anything on.
